On Friday October 8 , 8:15 PM performer, collaborator, artist and music educator Spencer Bohren will be performing in concert at the Best Western Yellowstone Inn. Born in Casper, Wyoming, Bohren now makes his home in New Orleans. Bohren’s concerts and workshops celebrate traditional American music.

His 3rd annual Montana Roots n’ Blues guitar workshop will devote two full days to playing blues, country, folk, gospel and original songs, and in the process will cover finger picking, flat picking, open tunings, musical philosophy, singing and song writing. The students influence the direction of the workshop, and breakfast and lunch are provided.

The workshop is $400, discounted to $350 for the first five participants to register. The Best Western Yellowstone Inn is offering discounted rooms ($55 per night) to workshop participants.

The Friday night concert is $10 in advance, or $12.50 at the door.
